I am very happy to be able to celebrate Miura Canada’s 35th anniversary with our team here, our customers and our stakeholders supporting Miura. I first joined Miura Canada in my 3rd year of career with Miura, supporting engineering team and sales/maintenance support back in 2005. I learned a lot here for 5 years, and had opportunities to lean more about Miura and our customers in Japan and US, and now back to Canada from April 1st 2022. Very happy to be able to work again with people with whom I have worked over 10 years ago, and to be able to work with new members supporting Miura now. Many things have changed but many good things are still the same, especially our passion and our mission to expand the most efficient, safe and reliable boilers and services to broad range of customers needing “heat”.
35 years may seem to be very long, but for the boiler industry – a boiler can operate for over 20 years when maintained well – it is not too long. It should probably be considered as our promotion/training phase during which we tried to show our products, which were unique and not easy to be adopted in the conventional steam boiler industry, and we worked hard to adopt to the market. We kept explaining who we were, we kept improving ourselves, and little by little, were we adopted in the market. Now I feel that we are there, ready for the next phase in our growth, accelerating the expansion of our safe, reliable and efficient solution, on top of the foundation that were handed over to us.
Talking about the business environment around us, especially around the energy, water and environment – our core business playing field – the level of uncertainly and dynamism is maybe at its peak with the carbon neutral movements and political risks around the world. I feel that it is time for us to provide higher level values to our customers and future customers with our products from Miura Group and our expertise around steam, optimization of heat utilization and maintenance, backed up by over 60 years of business as Miura Group and 35 years of our effort and experience in Canada.
To all our employees, our partners, customers and stakeholders, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment to Miura in the past years, hoping that our relationships continue and creates new and exciting future.
Tatsuya Fujiwara,
President of Miura Canada
