Prime Boiler Visit:
Recently, I had the privilege to visit Prime Boiler Services, our partners in Western Canada. They have the largest boiler fleet in Western Canada and have been servicing the Oil and gas, Power, Industrial, and Commercial business sectors since 1991. During my visit to their Red Deer location, I had the chance to meet some of their employees and take a tour of their facility. This experience provided me with a deeper insight into the operations of our partner company and highlighted the significance of our collaboration
Conversations with Experts:
I gained valuable insights during my conversation with the company’s experts, Brett Hamlin, Sales Manager, and Jennifer Whalen, Training and Project Manager. They patiently answered my questions, giving me ideas on their processes and challenges. We also made plans for future collaborations. These discussions helped me understand their operations better and how Miura’s collaboration aligns with their goals.
The Facility Tour:
One of the most fascinating parts of the visit was the comprehensive tour of the company’s facilities. Walking through the facility floor, seeing their parts centre, their showroom which showcases 1 LX and 1 EX boilers, and seeing their BBQ rig, the famous ”Macksimus Prime” was a delight! It also made sense that they maintain their fleet at their facility seeing that they have a huge fleet of rentals and service trucks to maintain. Their attention to detail was a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence.

The Customer Site Visit – Alberta Cheese:
The next day, Jamie Dawe, Service Business Manager, scheduled a site visit to one of Prime Boiler’s customers in Calgary, Alberta Cheese. Witnessing firsthand how passionate Jamie was and how his services positively impacted their clients was transformative. It reinforced the importance of our collaboration and the benefits it brings to our end-users.
Strengthening the Partnership:
This visit was more than just a learning opportunity; it was a chance to strengthen our partnership. Building relationships is a vital aspect of any business collaboration, and spending time together in this context allowed us to connect on a personal level. It also helped align our goals and fostered a sense of shared purpose.
Looking Forward:
I felt a renewed sense of excitement about our partnership with Prime Boiler. The experience not only educated me about their operations but also inspired me to explore new ways we can collaborate and bring even more value to our clients in Western Canada.
